    Site Information

This site will be under eternally under construction as it will grow with all my hobbies. I hope to create some various tutorials involving the various programming languages I am learning as well as some general math/accounting guides. I plan to incorporate reviews of various DVDs, music albums, games, and books. I will also have a forum setup with various topics to discuss--though this may be a few weeks as I am not comfortable with my level of ASP knowledge to complete the task. The pictures menu has links to photographs of corresponding subjects. I also plan to have a series of flash animations for my your viewing pleasure. I currently plan to have the videos address everyday issues that are too hilarious to not share.

    About Me

My name is Jame E. Price III and I am an IT student at Germanna Community college and Old Dominion University TeletechNet. I work at Germanna Community College as the IST/Instructional Assistant under Tutoring Services. I live with my (soon-to-be) wife, Jessice E. Quisenberry in Port Royal, VA. Jessica is also a Germanna student and an extremely talented artist and designer; she currently works at a local Auto Auction filling out titles and occaisonally getting to drive vehicles from show to show. I like to program in various languages. I am currently learning VB.NET, Java, JavaScript, ASP, and C++. I am also looking into multiple certifications such as: A+, CCNA, MSCE, and JSCA/P. I am a certified UDE Yu-Gi-Oh! judge with Level one rules, player management and tournament organizing skills. Honestly, I have not had much time to play, build, maintain this hobby--and have been selling cards on ebay for extra pocket-money. I also enjoy playing video games, watching TV and listening/playing to music. Recently, Jessica gained an interest in fishing and has pulled one of my favorite hobbies off the back burner. I play the guitar though once again, I have not had much time to thrash lately.

Most of my free time is spent with the ones I love, visiting family and playing with the animals. I have three cats and a dog at the moment. June 2007, a good friend of Jessica's gave us the pick of a kitten litter; when Jessica arrived to decide, there were only two left. Naturally, we could not split them up and ended up with two small American Wirehair off-breeds. We originally throught we had a male (Cortez) and a female (Misha). After a few months our "male" went into heat two days before her neutering appointment... Cortez and Misha had to be bottle fed for roughly four weeks from the day they came home; they also required a prescription anti-worm medicine for those four weeks. The two cats are all grown up now, living an easy life: chasing each other down the hall way and sleeping on the bed with us.

Now I mentioned we have three cats--it is more like two and a half cats. Let me explain. A month after we moved into our home in Port Royal, we began to hear sounds from the roof of our house. After a few days, we decided to see what was causing so much racket. Low and behold, a Russian Blue with large beedy eyes sat on the roof--enjoying the night air. Jessica, being the animal enthusiast, grabbed a can of cat food and walked outside. The cat leaped into her arms to get to the food. After a couple hour investigation to the health of the cat--we realized that she had been spayed, was well taken care of, and was very familiar with human interaction. We concluded that the cat must have escaped from soneones house. We agreed to take care of her until we could find her a home. It has been four months now and Janis Joplin still enjoys our company. She earned the name Janis from her pathetic miserable meow that reminded me so much of one of Jessica's favorite singers. This still doesn't explain the "half" part of the cat quantity. Janis comes and goes as she pleases--we let her outside, typically in the morning when I leave for work and she comes back in before dark (or anytime that she gets hungry). Janis' behavior enforces the cliche "Dogs have owners, cats have staff".

While on a business trip to Roanoke for the VCCS New Horizons Conference, Jessica informed me that I would have a dog when I returned from my trip. She told me he was a cute long-haired chihuahua and that the original owners thought that Jessica should have him as she had more time to give him the attention he craved. I was very skeptical at first, but teh day I came home, Chewbacca (Chewy) ran up and gave me kisses and I was in love. Chewy is very obedient dog--but may require crate-training to cease his in-house poop habit. He is 2 years old and is an AKC pedigree Long-haired Chihuahua.
